Mark Ronson featuring Q-Tip - Bang Bang Bang
This is one of my favorite songs as of right now. The beat is really heavy on the synth, and he uses a great sample of some classic indie songs. Q-Tip rapping to it just tops it all off. This is your typical party song, or one that you'd blast in your car and look like a huge flamer. This song is great regardless, and I recommend the download.
Asher Roth - G.R.I.N.D. (Get Ready It's A New Day)
Asher killed it on this one, unfortunately it was ripped from the radio and those damn D.J's were shouting random shit the whole time in the background. But anyway, the beat is cool, catchy, and upbeat. Asher's lyrics are alot more serious on this track than some of his past stuff... and I kindof like it? But you be the judge. Song Stuck In My Head on May 27th: Blue Scholars - Paul Valery
Man I heard this song about 2 months ago, and it's been stuck in my head ever since. They use the instrumental from Fireflies by Owl City, with a few alterations, and rap over it. The Blue Scholars have got mad flow, and this beat compliments their voices so nice. Take a preview and see what you think.
Donnis - Yup
This song uses a sample from Rihanna, and it's dope! This song is insane with the beat and the lyrics. They mesh together so perfect. Donnis is one of my current favorite rappers, and be sure to check out his last mixtape: Diaries of An ATL Brave. Download after the preview.
Reinvention - Turn Me Up
